Your mission is strong. Let's make sure donors can hear it.
A six-month coaching program for nonprofit executive directors who want to explain their work clearly, speak with confidence, and raise more.
6 months Clarify, tailor, deliver
12 sessions One on one, two a month
Real practice On the situations you actually face
Sound familiar?
Your work is complex, and it's hard to sum up in a sentence.
You describe your organization differently to different people, and you're not sure what lands.
Tough donor questions catch you off guard. “Why should I give to you instead of another group?”
Speaking at events, in pitches, or asking for a gift one on one makes you nervous.
You know fundraising depends on your message, and you haven't had time to fix it.
These problems are common, and they are fixable.
What we work on
A clear core message
One sentence that says what you do and why it matters, backed by a story donors remember.
Messages for each audience
Individual donors, foundations and funders, your board, and the community each need something different.
Answers to hard questions
We prepare for the objections and questions donors actually raise.
Speaking with confidence
Pitches, events, meetings, and one-on-one asks, with practice and honest feedback.

Who this is for
Executive directors and nonprofit CEOs who want to raise money more effectively and speak about their work with confidence.
About your coach
I hold a Ph.D. in communication. I've taught college students since 2005, including nearly a decade as an assistant professor. I coach nonprofit leaders on messaging and speaking, and I've trained groups of nonprofit leaders in pitch competitions, including SEED20.
Investment
I share pricing after a short conversation. Many organizations cover coaching through professional development budgets, board support, or funder grants. After we talk, I'll send a one-page summary you can share with your board.
Questions
Can my organization pay for this?
Yes. Some do, and some executive directors pay personally.
How much time does it take?
Two sessions a month, plus the practice we agree on.
Do I need to be comfortable speaking already?
No. Many clients start nervous.
Why six months, with two sessions a month?
Six months gives us time to clarify your message, practice it on real situations, and use it with donors before our work ends. Two sessions a month leaves room between meetings to practice.
Ready to talk it through?
Book a 20-minute conversation. Tell me what you're working on and we'll see if this program is a fit.
